10th Anniversary Celebrations!
Mr Marsh | July 25, 2010
Furley Park Primary School is turning 10 in September!
To celebrate the occasion we will be running some special activities for the children – starting on the first day back – Friday 3rd September!
The day will start off with the Science Boffins running an assembly and working with the children during the day.
Nigel King Raptors will be giving a flying demonstration of three or four birds of prey in the school hall.
There will also be a picnic on the field – an opportunity for children and their new teachers to eat together.
And finally, the judging of the summer competition will complete the day.
This summer there will be a competition to design and build a non-food birthday cake to celebrate the school’s 10th birthday – the only criteria is that it is no larger than a Roses or Quality Street tin!
Please see the school newsletter for more information.
On Friday (2nd July), the school netball team travelled to the University of Kent at Canterbury to compete at the Kent School Games.
